The NEC have undertaken a review of the NZPF 3 Lift and Bench only qualifying totals and concluded to increase them for the current and following year in the interest of promoting a sense of achievement and prestige associated with attending our National championships and higher level competitions, and to ensure that entry numbers remain at a level that is sustainable for associations hosting our National championships

Those seeking to qualify for Nationals 2023 will need to achieve the National qualifying total presented in the new Qualifying total document prior to the event. Those seeking to qualify for Worlds 2024 and other international competitions next year will need to achieve the qualifying totals presented in this document (for that level of competition) at Nationals this year or at any competition within 12 months prior to the start date of the chosen event

Those seeking to qualify for Worlds 2023 and other international competitions this year please refer to the previous qualifying totals that you will need to have achieved as of Nationals 2022
