NZPF Coaching Commission

The NZPF Coaching Commission was formed in January 2026 with an aim to support and develop coaches within the NZPF and aid the NEC with decision-making regarding coaches. 

Their on-going responsibilities are:

  • Selecting the coaching team for Worlds and other international meets
  • Seeking and allocating funding for NZPF coaches 
  • Overseeing the development of our talent pipeline for coaching 

In addition, in 2026, they will be responsible for the creation and socialisation of an NZPF Coaching Course, as part of maintaining a talent pipeline and succession plan for NZPF Coaches.

Recent work has involved standardising our processes and providing clear documentation of these.
